He was a very honest postman taking great care to ensure that postal mail was delivered to all the people on his route. When postal mail would be missing (due to a problem in the postal system) he would be questioned by the people on his mail delivery route as he was the face of the indian postal service, while those who may have created the problem would remain hidden.
